Free parking is available directly at the house. a) On foot: - 2 minutes to fresh baked goods and breakfast spots - 5 minutes to ski and sled lift and cross-country trails - 7 minutes to Altglashütten-Falkau train station - 15 minutes to one of the Black Forest’s most beautiful bathing lakes (Windgfällweiher) - Numerous hiking trails (e.g. Zweiseenblick, Feldberg, Herzogenhorn) start right at the house b) By bike: - Feldberg summit approx. 12 km - Schluchsee-Aha 10 min - Titisee 30 min - Bähnle cycle path via Haslachtal-Lenzkirch 8 km c) By train or car: - 5–10 min to Schluchsee - 10 min to Titisee - 60 min to Freiburg old town d) By car: - 3 min to supermarket in Bärental - 10 min to Feldberg (also by bus) - 20 min to Menzenschwand In summer, the location is ideal for hiking, swimming, or cycling—from easy flat routes around the three lakes to challenging mountain bike tours with over 1,000 meters elevation towards Zastler and Freiburg. A bike room is available in the garden. In winter, ski slopes, sledding, and cross-country trails with access to the Feldberg area await you.
